My story

Hello! My name is King Julian, I am a 2 year old, neutered male, short-haired cat. I was relinquished to MaxFund February 2025 by no fault of my own, and now I am looking for my fur-ever home!I am a little shy and afraid to leave my hidey bed, but I am friendly! I enjoy getting petted. I am new to the shelter environment, with some time I`m sure I would feel comfortable enough to explore the room.I haven`t met any dogs or kids, and this is my first time being around other cats so I am not yet sure how I would do in a home with others. If you have kids, you can bring them to meet me! If you have a dog, the shelter staff can test me with a MaxFund dog and see how I do.I recently had a severe urethral obstruction and am still at high risk for another obstruction. I am on a prescription diet that I must stay on. I am also on hydracare to keep me hydrated. I will need a cat water fountain to help promote water intake.Due to my special needs, I am available as Short-Term Foster with intent to adopt.
