CARROT*

My story

Even people who don’t enjoy most vegetables tend to like carrots. They’re crunchy and sweet, you can dip them in peanut butter or ranch dressing, you can roast them and dress them up or shred them and dress them down by tossing them into a salad or coleslaw. We think that carrots are the easiest vegetable. While not the root vegetable variety, we’ve got a pretty sweet Carrot here at the shelter to share with you! A volunteer friend shared:“Carrot is really sweet and easy to handle. She’s not reactive to other dogs and she doesn`t pull much while walking. She`s attentive and is always listening, waiting for directions. She does great hanging out in a yard- cuddling is a must for this good girl!”A member of the public found Carrot as a stray and stated that she loves older people and getting affection. She’d like to meet any potential doggy roommates before heading home to ensure a good fit.
