Name: Fiji Age: Approx. 4 years old Breed: Mixed Breed (with a touch of elegance, of course) Gender: Female About Fiji: Fiji is a gentle, sweet-natured girl who takes her time to warm up to new faces and places. Shy at first, she prefers to observe the world from a safe distance before she fully engages. But don’t let that initial reserve fool you—once she feels comfortable, Fiji is a loyal and loving companion with a heart of gold. She thrives in calm, quiet environments and, given some time and patience, will reward you with a bond like no other. Personality: Fiji is a peaceful soul who enjoys the simpler things in life—like chewing on her favorite nylabones for hours (her absolute go-to way to unwind) and taking leisurely walks through the neighborhood. She’s not the type to rush into big social scenes, as she prefers a bit of space and solitude. Her shyness doesn’t mean she’s distant—once she trusts you, she’ll be right by your side, offering affection in the most heartwarming ways. Whether she’s curling up beside you on the couch, following you around the house, or sitting quietly in your presence, Fiji’s quiet companionship will bring a sense of peace to your life. Ideal Home: Fiji would do best in a calm, low-stress environment with owners who understand her need for time to adjust. A quiet home without other dogs or young children would be ideal. She’s not an overly demanding dog, but she appreciates a routine and space to relax and recharge. She enjoys regular walks and will be your perfect walking buddy—always ready to explore, but never in a rush. If you are interested in adopting, please visit the shelter during adoption hours. Be sure to let the front desk know the name of the dog you are interested in visiting. Once you have met with the dog and an application has been approved, we will then ask to complete a meet and greets with any dog(s) that are currently living in the home or visit frequently. Our adoption hours are as follows: Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 12pm-5:30pm Thursday: 2:30pm-5pm Saturday & Sunday: 12pm-4:30pm
