My story

Blizzard is a very smart, playful pup and will sit for a treat. This youngster is full of puppy antics, loves playing with squeaky stuffed toys and running in the play yard. Blizzard is also affectionate and loves snuggles. He can use some obedience training/manners and since he is food motivated this should help him learn quickly. He would do best in a home with older kids (his energetic play may be too much for young children) and he is good other dogs. Blizzard is about 8 months old and 39 pounds. Please help Blizzard find the loving home he deserves. ***You must provide a vet reference for a current or past pet you have/had.*** We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes. If you are interested in adopting, we encourage you to please submit an application on our website today so that we can try and process and pre-approve any potential adopters prior to our next adoption event. This covers all their age-appropriate shots, microchipping, spay/neuter and vetting. **If you are coming to an adoption event to see a certain dog/cat, please email ahead of time to make sure that dog/cat will be there that day. Please email 1-2 days before the event, as some animals are placed during the week and our list is constantly changing.
