My story

Welcome Orion to CCPAL Rescue Foster Program. Orion is an 8-month-old Lab mix. He weighs about 40 pounds and may way 50 full grown. He was found as a stray. He is a very sweet and responds well to affection. He will be large sized full-grown dog is our guess. He is friendly with other dogs off-leash. He has a beautiful medium length coat and stunning brown eyes. He was found as a stray and is now in foster care here in Texas. Orion has a brown shorter coat with a white blaze on his chest. He is a moderate shedding dog and not over the top. He stays in his yard and plays nicely with other dogs. He is good with all people and is very loving. He loves to play in the water and playing with sticks. He is a typical puppy. They are good at walking next to you in the yard. Orion would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He isn’t food assertive when eating and is not over the top wiggly. He is playful and outgoing. He is currently neutered, vaccinated, and ready for his forever home. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont, or all along the East Coast. Someone who does not work all day every day is best for a puppy. He will need to finish up his puppy training. He spends a lot of time outside in his foster home here in Texas. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states.
