My story

Toby is a handsome brown tabby with soulful eyes and the cutest freckles on his nose. He was found abandoned in a snowy field in Dundee this past winter, emaciated, terrified, and fighting to survive after being cruelly dumped by his former owners. Despite everything he’s been through, Toby has a big heart and a big personality—and he’s ready for a second chance. Toby loves food—especially wet food—and sometimes gets a little too excited at mealtime. In his enthusiasm, he might try to snatch the dish right out of your hand, so a little caution goes a long way. He enjoys affection, but strictly on his terms. Once he’s had enough, he’s not shy about giving a quick swat or love bite to let you know. He’s not for everyone, but for the right person—someone patient, understanding, and willing to meet him where he is—Toby will be a quirky, charming, and deeply rewarding companion. He adores scratching posts and pads, and providing plenty of them helps him feel at home. Toby is neutered, vaccinated, and litter trained. He’s looking for a cat-savvy adopter who appreciates a cat with a bit of an edge—and a whole lot of character.
