My story

I know exactly what you're thinking. How in the world did this handsome boy end up at the shelter? By the way my name is Atkit. You could say I was looking for love in all the wrong places, and too many places. Yes indeed, I'm the Don Juan of the cat neighborhood some lady cats even call me the cat's meow. One day, on my prowl, I saw them. They were beautiful. It was like I was their Romeo and they were my Juliet. I tried to call and even get through the window. Their human mom yelled at me. She said they were fixed and that I needed to go away. Did that stop me? Of course not. I'm not ashamed, I was a bad boy. Love was calling and I was there to answer. She ended up calling the cops -the paw patrol to be exact. I thought I was going to prison, but it ended up being like an apartment. I even got a place on the second floor. I got lots of pets, food and toys. I also got a big comfy bed. I was exhausted, I slept for a long time once I arrived. It gave me a chance to think. Maybe instead of being a street cat, I could be a house cat. I mean I'll always be handsome, but I don't have to be led by my body anymore. I was neutered and now I can be seen as the sweetheart that I am. Just to prove it, a little cutie cat named Licorice on the 1st floor wanted to visit me. She said that she was spayed, but I said no, not until I get fixed too. Now I'm looking for a different kind of love, maybe I'm looking for love in all the right places. So, if it's in your heart, please let me in and adopt me. I want to know what true love feels like and that I can fill your heart too.
