My story

Banana Mania (Smile) is a sweet and loving dog with a gentle personality. His favorite things include peanut butter, snuggles, butt scratches, sunbathing, and going on walks or jogs—he’s always up for an adventure if you are! While he’s not into playing with toys, he finds comfort and relaxation lounging in his crate, which is his happy place.Smile is well-behaved, quiet, and gets along beautifully with other low-energy dogs. He’s not aggressive at all but can be a little nervous around loud noises. He’s also potty trained and can go long periods of time between going out. He knows basic commands like sit, wait, and come. He has some cute, fun quirks, including gritting his teeth when he's happy (hence the nickname) and pitter pattering when he's excited. He loves to be around people!Though Smile loves seeing kids during outdoor visits or quick hellos, he prefers a quieter home without children living in it. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.
