Cinder

My story

Approx DOB: July 2024 Cinder was rescued from a colony of cats during a TNR operation along with four others her age. She is average size, and loves laps and lots of attention. She plays, but really prefers to be held and loved. Cinder is a medium energy kitten. The other four in the group that she was raised with are Duffy and Sterling (possibly her brothers), Spider, and Pixie. It would be wonderful to place Cinder with one of these four. Cinder loves to play, but will stop long enough to say hello, and visit anyone entering her room. She always greets her foster mom and dad at the door. Cinder enjoys playing with wands and automatic toys with mice that pop out, as well as a plethora of balls and small toys. She loves most treats, especially Instinct freeze-dried chicken and Temptations chicken treats. Cinder has been diagnosed with a condition that is acquired in utero called cerebellar hypoplasia, which can be caused from the mother cat contracting a viral infection while pregnant. She has a bit of a head tilt, which makes her look like she is always questioning things that are being said to her. This condition has not stopped her from doing things that the others do. There is no cure for CH, however, it won't get any worse. This girl is ready for her forever home and her own people. Cinder is a wonder kitten, see for yourself. All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax). You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact catapplication@furryfriendsnetwork.com. Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet cats you might be interested in. We are an all-volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process. Foster Homes are needed in order to help more animals like this one.
