My story

Robinson is a sleek brindle beauty who’s ready to find his long term foster or a loving home. Weighing in at just 47 pounds, this 2.5 to 3 year old pup fits perfectly in a car seat and brings a perfect balance of energy and affection. He’s athletic and loves to run, so a yard is ideal, but once he’s had his zoomies, he’s happiest curled up on the couch by your side.Robinson does best with slow introductions to new people and dogs, as he’s still learning that hands and paws can be gentle. Once he trusts you, he’s a total velcro snuggle bug who joyfully greets you every morning and every time you walk through the door. He knows Sit and is working on Down and Paw. He’s crate trained, completely housebroken, and has excellent house manners with no food stealing, counter surfing, or chewing on off limits items.This smart, trainable pup even figured out how to open the latch on a deck gate. He walks nicely on leash in quieter areas and prefers neutral territory when meeting other dogs. He’s also good in playgroups and boarding environments. At home and in the car, he may be protective of his people.
