My story

Give him lots of love and he’ll be yours forever! Hey there, friends! My name’s Jake, and I’m a 11-month-old, 43-pound Lab Mix on a mission to find my furever home! I traveled all the way from the Pasadena Humane Society, and I’m ready to meet my new family. I’m a happy, high-energy pup who absolutely loves everyone—both humans and animals, alike! My favorite activities include running, playing outside, cuddling, and giving lots of kisses. Since I’m still young, I have lots of energy and will need plenty of exercise. I’m fully potty-trained and crate-trained, but my leash skills are still a work in progress. I’m a strong boy, so I’ll need an adult or a strong teen to help guide me while I learn. But don’t worry—we’re working on it, and with a little patience and consistency, I’ll get the hang of it soon. My ideal home would be with a loving family that enjoys spending time outdoors, especially at the park where I can run and play. I thrive with regular company, so I’d do best in a home where I won’t be left alone for long periods of time. Doggie siblings are A-OK with me, and I get along wonderfully with my 13-year-old foster brother, so I’m kid-friendly, too.
