MEET MILES:AVAILABLE NOW BUT IF STILL SEEKING MY FUREVER FAMILY - MEET ME AT THE PAWS, PAlS, AND PET SUPPLIES PLUS ADOPTION EVENT ON SUNDAY MAY 18 FROM NOON-3PM, LOCATED AT MEADOW BROOK AMPHITHEATRE (on the campus of Oakland University) 160 FESTIVAL DRIVE, ROCHESTER HILLS, MI 48309! Age: 3 years old  Weight: 16 lbs  Breed: Schnauzer-Poodle Mix   Hello, lovely people! My name is Miles, and I’m on the lookout for my forever family! I had a rough start as a stray in Detroit, but thanks to the amazing folks at Furever Tails Animal Rescue, I’m safe and ready to find my perfect home! Though I can be a little shy at times, I promise to shower you with love once I get comfortable. I would do best with an experienced pet parent who can give me time to adjust to a new surrounding without overwhelming me. I tend to be selective on the people that I trust, and have become extremely attached to a young adult male in the home - I think he is the best person in the world, however I am not a fan of some of the visitors that come to my foster home! I’m a sweet, loving boy who thrives on attention. I’m more of a couch potato, so I enjoy lounging around, and would love nothing more than to be right by your side all the time. However, I also love going for walks and cruising in the car – as long as I’m with my favorite person! I have done well with other dogs but I do not need that kind of interaction in my life. Feline friends are quite alright for me, though! Young kids are not recommended for me as a quiet home would be best. For my comfort, I’ll need a fenced yard rather than regular leash walks, and I’m not a fan of being tethered. I can be a bit of a barker (specifically when crated), which means condos, apartments, or places where homes are too close together might not be the right fit for me. I’ll require regular grooming to keep my fur looking fabulous! I can be a little challenging when it comes to grooming so you will need a very patient and understanding groomer for my future spa days. If you have a calm, lower-energy home and are looking for a loving companion, I might just be the perfect pup for you.
