My story

Meet Reizy! Recently owner surrendered, Reizy is a super sweet and gentle girl who is very fearful of many things in her environment. Because of her sensitive nature, she would do best in a calm, quiet home where her new family has the patience and time to help her gradually socialize and build confidence. Reizy’s fearfulness means she will need a patient adopter who understands that progress may be slow but steady, and who can provide consistent, positive experiences to help her feel safe. Reizy does very well with other dogs and would likely benefit from having a calm, friendly canine companion in the home. Having another dog around can help her feel secure and encourage her to come out of her shell at her own pace. She’s a social girl when it comes to her furry friends and enjoys their company. While she may initially be shy or cautious, Reizy would probably do well with kids once she warms up and feels safe around them. Older, gentle children who understand how to approach a sensitive dog would be the best fit as she continues to build trust. While Reizy is still learning to navigate the world with more confidence, her loving and gentle nature shines through. With the right family to provide steady socialization, kindness, and understanding, Reizy has the potential to grow into a confident, devoted, and affectionate companion who will bring warmth and joy to her forever home.
