My story

Meet Marcel! 🐾 Marcel is a lovable adult Lab mix with a playful spirit and a heart full of love. He absolutely adores playing catch and gets along great with other dogs. His energy and enthusiasm are contagious, but he does best with someone who can be gentle yet firm in guiding his behavior. We're currently working on curbing his habit of playful nipping. Marcel is not at all toy or food aggressive and enjoys snuggle time just as much as playtime. He’s doing really well with his potty training and is fully crate trained. He has a mild issue with dry skin, which we're managing, and he’d be a wonderful companion for a family—especially one with children. If you're looking for a loyal, fun-loving pup to add joy to your life, Marcel might be your perfect match! The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A meet-and-greet is required for all shelter dogs 6 months and older if you already have a dog. Thank you for considering the adoption of a shelter animal in need!
