My story

We have a princess in our presence and her name is Princess Peach. She is a tiny little thing with the cutest face and best personality that is guaranteed to steal your heart! She is the perfect mix of snuggle and fun. What more can you ask for?! See her in action right here— https://youtu.be/7kiXBgRDsVc?si=8a2cLDDvFjtXRKjw Princess Peach is a darling terrier-Chihuahua mix approximately 1 year old and currently weighs 22 lbs! We meant it when we said she's tiny little thing, so don't let her pictures fool you! She is the perfect shhmedium size! Perfect if you're looking for a lap dog and don't want to have to worry about not being able to breathe because they are too heavy and but big enough to where you don't have to worry about squishing them either LOL. Princess is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Peach is definitely a loveable snuggly gal by nature and can come off as a little shy at first in new places and when she is meeting new people but the moment you show her love and affection she becomes... you guessed it, your little princess always by your side! She is currently in a foster home and her foster has even said that it didn't take long for her to open up and before she knew it, Peach was wanting to snuggle with her all day long and was always wanting to be near. When it comes to doggy friends, Peach is very dog friendly and is currently fostered in a home with other dogs all different sizes and personalities. She has an amazing foster that is actually able to foster a few dogs at a time or bring a new dog home for the night every so often and Peach makes friends with them all. Even the occasionally those rambunctious playful puppies. Which just goes to show how tolerant she is. With dogs bigger than her, which is most, she can be a little shy at first and will need some time to open up but once she does, let the play time begin! She loves other dogs and loves playing with them. Her foster says that Peach has the best time playing her 50 lb shepherd mix and it's the sweetest thing watching them play. She is very tolerant with all different types of play styles as well. She loves to play chase and enjoys those rumble and tumble wrestling moments as well. She's a little dainty demure princess and prefers those rumble and tumble moments not get too rough for her cutesy self. Peach isn't all play all the time either and is respectful around dogs that don't want to play. She actually appreciates being with dogs that like to play but also enjoy just hanging out as well and enjoying each others company. Especially, if they like to cuddle! After a good romp around the yard and play session, Peach is often caught snuggling up with her foster siblings on the couch, resting her head on them. It's just the sweetest thing! If you don't have other dogs, that's okay too. Peach does not need the company of other dogs to fulfill her energy needs or feel comfortable. She is generally a calm and mellow lady that will need some time to settle in but we do believe that Peach will be the happiest with another furry companion in the home. Peach is cat friendly as well and is currently fostered in a home with cats. She is not bothered by any of the typical things that cats like to do, jumping on counters, running around, causing ruckus, making noise, playing with their toys, or being lazy. One of the cats in her foster home is on the spicier side as well and Peach steers clear of him LOL. She's not tying to get swat at. Besides the fact that she is precious and the cutest thing, Peach has wonderful house manners! She is crate trained and potty trained and isn't destructive in the home. She would be a great companion to have around if you work from home because she's not the type that is going to be getting into things they shouldn't be. She'll either be snuggled up next to you, snoozing away on the couch, playing with her doggy sibling, or playing with a toy. Which she loves toys and definitely has her favorites she likes to keep intact. One of her favorite games to play is tug of war and she is a fetch superstar! She can keep her self entertained for hours with a toy! Peach is the perfect in-between of independence and attention lover. Her ideal home can look like a coupe of things as well. Since she is a little thing and is overall generally quiet, she has the potential to thrive in an apartment like environment that is not in the heart of the city since she can be a little shy girl at times. Peach would also thrive in a home with a backyard where she can run around stretch her legs and find that perfect spot for ample sun time. Peach is capable of being your little adventure trail buddy with a little confidence boosting and she is already equipped to being your snuggly couch princess at the end of the day. She would love the companionship of other dogs who can help her build confidence, but more than anything, she’s eager for adventures with you—whether it’s a peaceful walk, a fun car ride, or simply cuddling up at home. With a little patience and a lot of love, Princess Peach will become the most loyal and loving companion. If you’re looking for a gentle pup to share your heart and home with, she’s ready to meet you! We are willing to test Princess Peach with anything you need us to in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. We travel to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA  or Brattleboro, VT for the eastern Canadian border)! Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on our USDA licensed vehicles, including buses and cargo vans. You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey! You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience!  The adoption fee is $900 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship!  We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.  Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!  Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.  The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.  While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family  Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions  70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer  Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission! Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time. https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https:// www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life?
