My story

ESPURR is a young, female short-haired black and white tuxedo cat, looking for the perfect forever home!  She is a very sweet cat, and enjoys playing and running around.  She has an adorable trill and will ask for attention by rubbing up on you until you shower her with loves.  She has a noticeable head tilt, but that is part of her uniqueness.  This head tilt is not from any injury to her neck or spine and does not cause any pain – it’s just an endearing quirk of hers. She does take a couple of days to warm up in a new space, but once she does, it’s very rewarding building a relationship with her.  She would do best in a quiet home, without dogs or lots of loud noises.  Espurr is a mama cat, who gave birth to a litter in her foster home.  She would enjoy a home with another friendly young cat, but she should also be fine as an only cat with lots of loving attention. Espurr has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners.  To meet Espurr in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at PetSmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The $155 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
