My story
Shes’s pretty, she’s loveable and she’s ready to meet her furever family. Meet Valerie. Valerie and her sister-friend Charlotte were found wandering this past fall and have been with the local DCO til recently when they came to us. Valerie is around 3 years old and weighs between 50-55 pounds. Valerie is a fun loving, snuggly girl, typical of a house hippo. She is incredibly sweet and smart and when the mood suits her, sounds as if she’s purring. While we are willing to adopt them separately to be the queens of their own home, Valerie and Charlotte are very fond of each other and if someone if willing to adopt them both, a discount would be given. If you’re interested in meeting Valerie and/or Charlotte, please fill out our online application or stop in during open hours. Wednesdays 6-8pm and Saturdays 12-3pm
