Pig-Pen

My story

We're all kind of in love with Pig-Pen around here. He's definitely the president of the Weird Little Guys Club, but he's got a kind of handsome scruffiness and the dreamiest eyes. We're enchanted by his weird little noises and his coat that makes him look like a well-loved stuffed animal. He loves wet food, playing with wand toys, lap sits, and grumbling his way into your heart. If you follow our Facebook page, of course, you'll know that Pig-Pen was recently outed as a guy with some urinary issues. Yeah, he's got the crystals (a very common thing for male cats) and he's been known to pee outside the litter box when he's stressed out or feels the need to mark his territory. He does need to stay on the urinary health food, and he might pee on your stuff during times of transition. But really? That's a small price to pay for the company of this dude. What he lacks in pee etiquette, he makes up for in charm. Also, you'll never be bored. Since being around other assertive cats does seem to trigger Pig-Pen's inappropriate peeing, we're hoping to find him a home where he can be the only cat, or to one with a laid-back companion feline.
