My story

Meet Calliope! Calliope is a 5 month old, spayed female Heeler mix. She is microchipped, on heartworm preventative and current on her vaccines. 3 words that describe me: Energetic, affectionate and out-going. Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: "My friends at the shelter describe me as a happy girl who cant wait to find her forever home and grow up by her people's side. They say I am an energetic, goofy girl with a heart full of love." Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10) 8 Housetraining Status: I could use some work on housetraining but I will catch on super fast with a good routine and patience. I would do well in a home with: Dogs (with proper introductions) and Kids (with parental guidance). Staff are unsure how I would do around cats. My favorite activities are: I love cuddling and playing with my favorite people and going everywhere with them. Things I need work on are: I could use a little help with my leash walking skills, sometimes the leash confuses me. My adoption fee is: $350 Training Requirement if applicable: Because I am a puppy and its very important my new family and I are set up for success, I am required to attend a puppy class at my new family's choice of training location.
