Thanks for your interest in Brock also affectionately known as "Broccoli" (because is puppyhood really complete without a silly name?) This kid is the typical happy, curious, energetic hound. He would be great for a home that appreciates these qualities. Despite being a goofy puppy and a hound, he is responsive to appropriate and consistent direction and correction, and has an even energy once the novelty of new situation wears off.  Brock does really well with the dogs in his foster home, and loves to play. He is also crate-trained. With the typical training, guidance, and boundaries that all puppies receive, Brock promises to be a wonderful companion.  We cannot fully predict Brock's full adult weight, but based on years of experience and observation of many rescued puppies and Brock's current growth rate, we guestimate he will be a slender 50-ish lbs, give or take.  Brock is current on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. Current on flea preventative and heartworm preventative. For puppies, please note that it is ideal that someone is either home frequently, or that arrangements have been made for someone to come home at least once during the day to allow the dog to go out for a potty break. Puppies should remain socialized to other dogs in their formative stages, so homes that can provide exposure to fully vaccinated and healthy well-behaved adult dogs is strongly preferred. *Local adoptions (within 1 hour of New Orleans). We do NOT ship animals. Pets are delivered to homes.
