My story

Meet Roscoe, a delightful 1-year-old pup weighing in at 50 lbs! Roscoe is the perfect mix of fun-loving adventurer and cuddle buddy. He absolutely thrives on attention and loves to get pets and snuggles from everyone he meets. His social butterfly nature means he's always ready to make new friends and brighten up your day with his playful spirit. Roscoe is a big fan of playtime and will eagerly chase after toys, showing off his enthusiasm with each toss. He also has a love for treats, and his playful nature is matched by his quick mind—he already knows "sit" and is eager to learn more! Roscoe’s a chew enthusiast, so it's a good idea to have a chew toy handy to keep him entertained and out of trouble. He may try to grab his leash for a quick chew session, but a fun toy will easily distract him. Though Roscoe has a mild pulling tendency on his leash, he walks well and enjoys his outdoor adventures. He also loves car rides and will happily sit back and relax while you head to your next destination. While Roscoe’s bouncy personality is one of his most endearing traits, it does mean that he might be a bit too exuberant for homes with small children. He’s just so full of energy and excitement, and his boisterous nature may overwhelm toddlers. But for active families or individuals looking for a playful and affectionate companion, Roscoe will be a perfect fit! Best of all, Roscoe is housetrained, making him an even easier addition to any home. If bringing a dog for a meet and greet, please bring proof of up to date rabies, bordetella, and DHPP vaccines. To meet your future pet, come to Guilford County Animal Services between 12 and 4 any day except Tuesday!
