My story

To adopt this cat from Black Cat Rescue, please fill out a profile https://blackcatrescue.com/adopt-cat-boston What is better than one sweet black kitty?  TWO SWEET BLACK KITTIES!  In honor of National Siblings Day (April 10) we share the story of this bonded pair looking for a patient, caring home where they can be the center of the (much-deserved) attention.   Winnie and Minnie have spent their lifetime protecting each other – are you the one who could be their new furrever parent to provide safety, comfort, and lots of YouTube birds??  Minnie and Winnie came to the Black Cat Rescue as timid, scared sisters longing for a loving forever home together.  Never receiving unconditional love before, this duo took some time to warm up in their foster home but has won over the hearts of their humans in truly unique ways!  These gals have started to realize how fabulous bedtime cuddles are, as well as lap snuggles.  With stunning green-yellow eyes and sleek black fur, you may want to pick them up and show them off, however Minnie and Winnie will do best in a home that can be patient with their journey to confidence and meet them where they are at on this road to finding permanent love.  Minnie and Winnie thrive in an environment where they can be the apples of your eye, and not have to compete with other pets or children.  They are lively spirits, and love to wrestle with each other, play with ribbon dancers and toys, and conserve their energy in bed with you before their late-night zoomies!  Be sure to save them a spot on the windowsill so they can watch the squirrels and birds outside.  Like most of us in transition, Minnie and Winnie will need patience and love while settling into a forever family.  Minnie is more adventurous and is her sister’s keeper, and Winnie follows the lead.  Being the leader, Minnie will trill for Winnie to come out when she can’t find her (isn’t that the cutest??)  But there’s a secret to winning over Winnie:  leave out mugs of water for her to sip on throughout the day and she will know you speak the same love language!  Together they will both hop into your hearts with their playful nature, curiosity of people, and longing to be loved and give love to someone special.  Ready for double the affection and adventure?  Meet Minnie and Winnie and see why bonded pairs are the best.
