My story

Meet St. Nick – A Sweet Shih Tzu Looking for a Loving Retirement Home! Hi, my name is Nick, and I’m a 12-year-old Shih Tzu just looking for a cozy home to spend my golden years. Life hasn’t always been easy for me—I came to the rescue in rough shape, and I only have one eye, but don’t let that fool you! I see just fine and get around like a pro. I have a bit of a cat-like personality—I like affection on my terms and will let you know when I want some love. Once I’m comfortable, I’ll come over for lots of pets, then retreat back to my bed for a nice snooze. My foster family says I’m a truly endearing little fellow. I’m currently in a foster home with dogs and cats, and I don’t mind them at all. I’m neutered, up to date on all my shots, and fully vetted—I’m just waiting for the right person to take me home!
