Meet Cannoli – A Goofy, Lovable Longtimer Ready to Go Home ?? Cannoli, formerly known as Ghostbuster, came to PAC on February 14, 2025, as part of a “longtimer swap” from another overcrowded shelter. Due to the July 2024 floods, he had been living in a boarding facility for months—through no fault of his own.Despite a tough start, Cannoli hasn’t lost his spark! He joined dog playgroups, made lots of human friends, and quickly became a staff favorite for his silly, affectionate energy.? Why We Love Cannoli:Potty trained and walks great on leashSuper treat-motivated and takes them gentlyKnows “sit” and loves to show off his tricksSweet, snuggly, and full of kissesEnjoys snowy days and zoomies in the yardDog-friendly — prefers playful friends who match his energy?? Why He`s Still Waiting:Cannoli was recently returned to the shelter—not because of anything he did wrong. He’s been in the shelter system since June 2024, which is far too long for a young pup. As a result, he’s developed some separation anxiety and high energy in the kennel. He just needs time, patience, and reassurance that he won’t be left behind again.?? Behavior Assessment Highlights:Sociability: 7 points total; soft, curvy body language, tail wags, and close physical contact — he even sat between the tester’s legs!Food & Toy Handling: Passed with flying colors — showed no guarding or aggression; allowed toy and bowl to be taken away, stayed calmKennel Presentation: Grades A/B — excited and hopeful, some barking, but soft behavior overall---If you’re looking for a loyal, goofy, snow-loving best friend, Cannoli is your guy.
