My story

Meet Lyra! Sweet and gentle, Lyra is looking for a patient and loving home where she can blossom. She came to the shelter with her mom and siblings after a rough start and is still learning to navigate the world with confidence. While she may be a bit nervous at first, she’s full of love and ready to bond with her forever family. Lyra feels most comfortable with a dog companion by her side and would thrive in a home with another pup to help her build confidence. She loves toys and treats and is eager to learn, making training a great way to help her come out of her shell. Because she can be shy, she’d do best in a home with adults or older kids who can give her the patience and reassurance she needs. If you have a calm, loving home and a friendly dog looking for a buddy, Lyra would love to meet you!
