My story

This sweet and gentle boy has been a dream to foster. Since settling into a home environment, Bobandy has shown wonderful leash manners—no more pulling, just happy strolls through the neighborhood! He loves his walks, does well passing other dogs, and is always up for playtime with his favorite plush toys (which he adorably tosses in the air before zooming around).Bobandy is potty trained and does well when left alone. He’s an affectionate companion who rarely barks but will let out a little whine when he’s excited or ready for a walk. He’s still working on his kitchen etiquette—his curiosity sometimes gets the best of him, leading to a few countertop investigations—but with continued training, he’s sure to improve. If you`re looking for a loving, playful pup with a ton of personality, Bobandy might be your perfect match!The Seattle Animal Shelter is committed to reducing length of stay for all of our shelter pets! Some pets qualify for FREE or reduced adoption fees, please inquire with our Animal Care team to learn more. Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. This will include reviewing all known medical and behavior information.** Please note that some animals will receive numerous inquiries, sometimes more than we can process. We appreciate your understanding and patience.HOW TO ADOPT: Check the animal`s location.From the Dog Kennels/Dog Isolation/Dog Quarantine (in shelter): To meet this dog, please come to Seattle Animal Shelter at 2061 15th Ave W, Seattle, WA 98119, between 1 - 5 pm one of on one of our open days, no appointment needed. We are open on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. We are closed for adoptions on Monday and all holidays.From Foster Care (out of shelter):1. Copy and paste the adoption survey link into a new tab on your browser: https://www.seattle.gov/documents/Departments/AnimalShelter/Dog%20Adoption%20Questionnaire_Fillable.pdf2. Download and complete the dog survey.3. Save the survey to your device with a new file name that includes your last name. Make sure it`s filled in when opened again.4. Put the name of the dog(s) in the Subject Line of a new email.
