My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Toast is an 8-month-old sweetheart with a heart full of love and a playful spirit! This adorable pup was found living under a shed, but she’s now thriving in her foster home and ready to find her forever family. Toast is potty trained and already knows a few tricks like sit and down—she’s a smart cookie! She’s still working on curbing her excitement, so she’ll need some guidance with jumping and gentle nibbling. She loves playing with her buddy Apollo but can get a little nervous in a big group of dogs. Leashes aren’t her favorite thing, but once she’s on one, she walks beautifully! She’s a bit shy around kids at first but warms up quickly with a little patience. Toast is currently eating 2 cups of Grandma Mae’s dry food (AM and PM) and enjoys a good toy-shredding session—but don’t worry, she hasn’t had any incidents eating anything other than her toys! She’s also starting to get the hang of fetch, though she can easily get distracted by all the exciting smells around her. Toast is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, crate trained, and healthy. If you’re looking for a loving, playful, and eager-to-learn companion, Toast might be your perfect match! Could you be the one to give her the forever home she deserves? If you think that Toast is the right fit for you, please fill out an application at the following link: https://www.saveastray.org/forms/form?formid=3635 Save a Stray pets are in foster homes.  Please complete an application at  www.saveastray.org   to make arrangements to meet our pets.  This pet has been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, and is on heartworm and flea prevention.  Adoption fee is $175 if local and $500 if transport is needed. If you are interested in meeting one or our pets please complete an adoption application at saveastray.org or email info@saveastray.org if you have a question.  Thank you for considering adding a homeless pet to your family.        Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 16, 2025, 10:49 pm
