My story

You can apply for Delilah at **www.ladyluckanimalrescue.org** under the 'Adopt/Foster' Tab. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Delilah is a beautiful female Domestic shorthair kitten born approximately June 22, 2024. Delilah and her brother Cornelius, and another sibling were living in the front yard of a house flanked by two streets, which became a dangerous situation. Our foster went several times to their location at all hours but the owner of the house would not cooperate and kept saying they were hers. News spread to our volunteer that the sibling was hit by a car, so at that point she went to the house and “took” Cornelious and Delilha to save them from a similar fate. Delilah is a sweet, shy girl who is still learning to trust people. While she was initially very scared, she has blossomed into a playful kitten who loves to chase her brother and bat around toys. She is still nervous about petting but is making steady progress—she’ll slow-blink at her foster and even sniff their hand! She depends on Cornelius for confidence and would thrive in a home that gives her patience and time to warm up. Delilah really enjoys being with her brother and vice versa. These two are absolutely adorable as they play, eat, and sleep together—Delilah  follows Cornelius’ lead in everything. Adopting them means double the fun, double the love, and watching Delilha blossom into the affectionate cat she’s meant to be! Delilah is spayed, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested negative, fecal tested negative, dewormed, and vaccinated (including rabies).
