Quick Facts Name: Emily  Age: 3.5 years old Gender: Female Neutered/Sprayed: Yes Breed: Retriever Corgi Mix Color: White  Weight: 15kg   All About MeHi, I’m Emily! I’m a 3.5-year-old Retriever-Corgi mix, weighing 15kg. I was rescued from a shelter where I was at risk of euthanasia, but now I have a second chance at finding my forever home. I’m friendly, affectionate, and full of personality. With my short legs and adorable face, I’m sure to win over your heart in no time!   My PersonalityI love people—whether I’ve known you forever or we’ve just met, I’ll happily come up to say hello. I enjoy being petted, cuddled, and even picked up. If you let me, I’ll snuggle right into you and soak up all the love. I also like to be the center of attention, so I’ll always be looking to engage with you.   How I Get Along with Other DogsI get along well with other dogs, whether they’re familiar or new. I enjoy playing and socializing, but I’d do best with a dog that has a slightly lower energy level than me so we can balance each other out. If I’m the only dog in the house, that’s fine too—I’ll just stick extra close to my humans. I haven’t met any cats yet, so I’m not sure how I’d react to them.   My Energy LevelI have a moderate to high energy level. I love outdoor activities and need plenty of exercise to stay happy, but once I’ve had my playtime, I settle down nicely. I enjoy walks, though I might pull on the leash a bit in excitement—I’m just eager to explore! With a little training, I’ll improve quickly since I’m so eager to please.   My Good HabitsI don’t guard my food or toys, whether from people or other dogs. I rarely bark, so I won’t be a noisy addition to your home. I’m also comfortable in a kennel and can use both indoor pee pads and outdoor spaces for potty breaks.   What I’m Looking for in a HomeI’d love a family that enjoys spending time together, whether it’s going for walks, playing, or just relaxing at home. If you have another dog, I’d prefer one with a slightly calmer energy level to balance me out. But if I’m your only dog, that’s great too—I’ll happily soak up all your love and attention.   Special MessageI’m a social, affectionate dog who thrives on human interaction. I love cuddles, playtime, and making new friends. My short legs and big personality make me an irresistible companion. I do need a little leash training, but because I bond so well with people, I’ll improve quickly with some guidance.
