My story

Hi, I’m Fergus! I’m 4.5 years old and weigh 50 pounds. I’m a friendly neutered male Lab mix and I’m crate and leash trained. Once I get familiar with my surroundings, I’m pretty good about my bathroom habits. I’ve had a bit of a journey—I came all the way from The Bahamas, from Voiceless Dogs of Nassau, after they closed. I'm half-blind, but don’t worry, I manage just fine. I’ve also had a one-eye enucleation, but my other eye is perfectly healthy! I was treated for heartworm and cleared, but I’ll need a repeat test in April 2025, just to be safe. I’m a super playful guy! I get excited before eating or going on walks, and I absolutely love running and chasing balls at the park. I’m happy, and I love meeting new people and dogs—I'm usually pretty friendly with them! I met kids at our kids summer camp and loved them. I have met a cat before, but would like a slow introduction. I think I’d probably do best with an active person who loves to play and be outside because I’ve got a lot of energy to burn! But overall, I’m just a loving and happy dog who’s ready to capture your heart. My adoption fee is $300 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip.
