My story

Meet JellyBelly! This lovable 3-year-old girl is looking for her forever home. Weighing 56 lbs, she’s got a calm and laid-back vibe that makes her a wonderful companion. JellyBelly is great on leash—whether it’s a stroll around the neighborhood or an adventurous hike stomping over roots and splashing through water, she’s happy to go wherever you take her. Though she has a lower energy level, JellyBelly is always up for a good time and enjoys getting out and about. She’s fantastic in public, content to join you for lunch or accompany you on errands without a fuss. She’s also had positive experiences with kids, and she takes treats gently, making her a great addition to any home with young ones. JellyBelly is well-mannered in the car, riding calmly and comfortably on trips. However, she does have a prey drive, so she would be best suited for a home without cats. If you're looking for a sweet, easygoing companion who’s happy to explore with you or just relax at home, JellyBelly could be the perfect match! As always, we strongly recommend bringing any resident dogs to the shelter for a meet and greet with potential new family members to be sure it's a good match. If bringing a dog for a meet and greet, please bring proof of up to date rabies, bordetella, and DHPP vaccines. To meet your future pet, come to Guilford County Animal Services between 12 and 4 any day except Tuesday!
