You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Memphis—the big boy with a big heart! There really isn’t much in this world this boy isn’t over the moon for—especially his people! Not only is he handsome and lovable, but he is also super smart and always ready to learn something new—he just wants to please his people. He is house-trained, walks great on a leash (and LOVES to go for walks!), rides well in the car, and is VERY treat motivated. He knows “sit,” “down” and “come” (but in true Pyrenees fashion, he only comes when he feels like it). He plays for short periods and then is content to chill, operating on a low-to-medium energy level. This giant guy is calm and gentle, and does well meeting new people with proper introductions. He doesn’t mind being groomed - gotta keep that long coat looking gorgeous! He enjoys being both inside and outdoors, and is a low-to-average barker. Memphis would love a home with a 5-foot secure fenced yard so he can patrol to keep you safe, and then have a good play in the dirt. A small female canine sister would be fine, but he’d also do well as an only dog. Do you love BIG dogs, have guardian breed experience and enjoy going for walks?!—If so, Memphis is your guy! This dog travels with a Interstate Health Certificate required by the USDA confirming that all the above criteria have been met. Housebroken: Yes Can be Placed With: Smaller Female Dogs, Older Kids. No Cats.  Fencing: Secure VISIBLE fencing is required; invisible fencing WILL NOT contain this breed. Fees: Adoption fees are determined on a sliding scale depending on age, location and transport. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. Fees for dogs adopted locally start at $400 and can range up to $700 for puppies under six months. Puppies placed on spay/neuter contracts receive $100 back when the dog is spayed or neutered. Fees for senior dogs (7 or older) and foster dogs will be adjusted accordingly. Our relationship doesn’t end with adoption, as we continue to support adopters throughout the lifetime of their dog. Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues.
