My story

--FOSTER PUPDATE--Rose A17191332 lb. spayed female, approx 10 months old -Rose is going by Rosie Posey Guacamole in her foster home and her nickname says it all! Rosie freely gives out kisses to everyone, and she especially loves showering the kids (ages 8 and 6) with affection.-Whether it’s on the couch, in bed, or at your feet, Rosie will happily curl up beside you and enjoy snuggling. She has an amazing cuddly nature!-Rosie is great with children and enjoys spending time with them. She'll be an ideal companion for a family with kids, as she’s calm, gentle, and incredibly lovable.-Rosie is very comfortable in her crate when left alone. She’ll even go into it on her own, especially on weekends when the door is open. She’s more comfortable when she has her crate in the living room, as it provides her with a sense of security.-Rosie is well on her way to being fully potty trained! She’s great about holding it in her crate and is generally good about potty breaks when let out every few hours. She’s quick to learn and will follow her humans’ potty schedule with no issue.-Rosie is still young and playful, so she may occasionally grab non-dog items left on the floor. However, she’s extremely easy to correct and will release whatever she’s picked up without hesitation. She is very smart and listens well. -Rosie enjoys the company of other dogs and would be happiest in a home where there’s another dog or two for her to play and interact with. This pet is in a foster home! If you are interested in meeting Rose, please email foster@friendsofdacc.org with subject line “Rose A171913”Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adoptThere is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, and $40 for cats payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Rose, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
