My story

Duchess is an estimated 4-year-old beautiful brown-and-white girl with a heart full of love, despite the rough start she’s endured. This sweet pup was found abandoned in a backyard, hiding in the rain with sores on her body and one eye swollen shut. Through all of this, Duchess has remained gentle and trusting, letting us care for her without complaint. Duchess dreams of a forever home where she can soak up all the love and attention she deserves. She has no idea how big she is—she’s convinced she’s a lap dog! She would thrive as the only dog in the home, where she can be the center of attention, and she’s not a fan of cats. She would do best in a loving environment where she can be showered with affection and return that love tenfold.
