My story

“DOMINICO” is a GRIFFON MIX, about 1 year old and weighs approx. 12kg. or 26 lbs. Unbelievably, while our volunteers find dogs in milk crates all the time, it's unprecedented to have a film crew present at the time. In "DOMINICO's" case, Anastasia and the crew were on their way to shoot the adoptions videos, in November of last year, when they found him abandoned on the laneway of our Sanctuary wired between 2 milk crates. As it was a Sunday, he was brought inside and the volunteers took him to our vet the next day. "DOMINICO" is in perfect health, and since his harrowing experience, SPFG has him now fully vetted and vaccinated, micro-chipped, and neutered. Our volunteers have trained with him daily to fully housebreak and leash train him. "DOMINICO" is a joyful and active fellow. He loves to run and play with his friends. He is social with people and animals alike. “DOMINICO” is very aware of the older or injured residents of our sanctuary, and treats them with care. He is curious, smart and food oriented so easy to train. He would fit in to any type of family.
