My story

At just 8 months old, Harley has already endured more than most, but you’d never know it by the way she shines. She was surrendered to Pinal County, set to be euthanized that very night—but we couldn’t let that happen. We rushed to bring her to safety, and from the moment we met her, we knew she was something truly special. Harley was born different—she only has her two back legs, with one front leg missing and the other just a partial limb. Her spine curves in a way that makes movement more of a challenge, but if you watch her for even a moment, you’ll see that she doesn’t let it stop her. She has the heart of a fighter, the spirit of an adventurer, and a love for life that is truly breathtaking. Now, Harley is stepping into her next chapter. She’s being fitted for a prosthetic, and we have no doubt that she’ll adapt in no time. She’s already a pro at using her wheelchair, and the joy on her face when she’s rolling forward says it all—she’s ready to take on the world.Despite everything she’s been through, Harley is nothing but love. She’s sweet, gentle, and full of joy. She doesn’t see herself as different—she just sees herself as Harley. And we believe she deserves a family who will see her the same way: not for what she’s missing, but for the incredible dog that she is.
