My story

Introducing Nilla & Wafer: A Sweet Treat Duo. These darling pups were found wandering outside a Kohl’s store on Christmas Eve wearing sweaters. They have since stolen the hearts of everyone who has met them! Nilla is a calm, quiet Husky mix who loves lounging around and soaking up gentle pets, while Wafer is an affectionate, playful Chow Chow who can’t get enough snuggles and attention. The two pups were found well cared for and loved, and we suspect they were lost. While we have not stopped searching for their original owners, no one has come forward, and it’s time for Nilla and Wafer to settle in to their forever home. The two buds are fond of each other, and would be thrilled to stay together, but they wouldn't mind safe separate homes too! What we know about Nilla & Wafer: - They’re both sweet, healthy, and happy pups! - They are great with people and super affectionate. - If adopted together, they might like a home without other dogs, as Wafer can be protective of Nilla. - Wafer is still working on crate training, but he's a smart boy and getting there! - Nilla is super chill, and despite being a Husky, we've yet to hear her bark! - They’ve been getting along perfectly and often lay next to each other for comfort. Nilla and Wafter are looking for a family that can give them lots of love and attention— a space where they enjoy a calm, safe environment, where they will never find themselves searching for home again. **Nilla & Wafer are located in Austin, Texas.
