Meet Otis – The Cat in a Dog Suit! 🐾 Otis is a 3-year-old, 35lb mystery blend who has mastered the art of selective affection. Found tied to a pole, Otis made his way to us nearly two years ago, and while he spent much of that time in boarding, he never lost his love for other dogs. In fact, he’s basically the life of the canine party! Recently, Otis landed himself a foster home, and to everyone’s surprise, he’s been an A+ house guest. He picks up on routines like he wrote the rulebook, is housetrained when kept on a schedule, and handles crate time like a pro while his foster is at work. He loves a good backyard romp—rain or shine—and when the day winds down, he’s all about couch snuggles (on his terms, of course). Here’s the thing about Otis: he’s not a big fan of hugs and kisses. Think of him as a cat trapped in a dog’s body—he enjoys his independence, but once he trusts you, he’ll begrudgingly accept your love… and maybe even ask for it. He’s looking for a home without young kids, where his quirks can be appreciated and his personal space respected.
