My story

Rockin' with Rocko! Hi pals! I am Rocko and I am a 1 year old, male neutered Lab mix and 53 lbs. I found myself, unnecessarily, on the sad Euth list at the Coachella Valley shelter. I got busted out in time and since then, I have been growing and blooming at my foster home. I am good with bathroom and leash training and still perfecting crate training. I have separation anxiety but I am working through it with conditioning and management. Since being fostered, I am learning how to trust people, control my anxiety, and live the life I absolutely deserve! I am lovable and a goofie pup who loves to cuddle. I do get anxious and wary with new things, but I am learning to trust. I am energetic but able to relax when I need to. I havent had experiences with dogs at my foster home but in all likelihood I should be good! I prefer being around older kids as I am still a bit antsy. My foster family says that I am a dream dog. So sweet and affectionate, while simultaneously silly and calm. Not to brag, but I am adorable! I can be affectionate and clingy, but I am an anxious boy and need someone who will love me while respecting/learning my boundaries. Calm, patient people would be best. Older kids would be fine for me.  I would prefer someone who works from home so that I can have some companionship while I navigate separation anxiety. My adoption fee is $400 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip.
