My story

Meet Spring Roll, a playful and energetic 2-year-old female dog full of personality! She’s a friendly and spirited companion with medium to high energy, always ready to join in the fun. Spring Roll loves being around people, often bouncing with excitement when meeting new faces. Her wiggly and loose body language is a clear sign of how happy she is to make connections! She knows the command “sit” and will happily obey—especially if treats are involved! Spring Roll is used to going into a crate for rest and downtime, and a crate is recommended for her transition home. One can be provided at the time of adoption if needed.Spring Roll must be the only dog in the home. While she initially showed some playful behavior with other dogs, her high energy and intense play style have proven to be too much in the long run. For everyone’s safety and comfort, we’re looking for a home where she can be the center of attention without other canine companions. She is also not a match for cats or small animals—dogs only, please!If you’re looking for a fun-loving, people-oriented dog who’s full of life and affection, Spring Roll might just be your perfect match—as long as she can have you all to herself!This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff! Be sure to check the `shelter information` box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
