He learned to swim at just six weeks old by jumping off a boat, and now can't resist the water, whether it's a creek, ditch, or puddle. Like any young pup, he's still working on house training and basic commands, but he’s eager to learn. He does well with other dogs, understanding their boundaries, and greets new people with enthusiasm. Max loves to carry his toys around and will keep you entertained with his playful antics. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues.
