Banshee

My story

Meet Banshee!This beautiful boy came to TMAR a bit skittish and more afraid of men than women. However, there is a live video of Keith and Banshee and (of course) Keith won him over pretty quickly 🙂Banshee has the cutest chin beard and longer fuzzy hair on his shoulders and back which must be due to having some Wire Hair genes. He weighs 51.5 lbs and is estimated to be around two to three years old.When he arrived at his foster home he was quite nervous and not sure about being in a house but after a couple of days he came out of his shell and the transformation was huge! His fosters saw a whole new side of him once he figured out that humans are not so bad. He LOVES attention and will nudge if you stop petting him. He also found his playful side - he loves to wrestle with the 6-month-old puppy in the home and is great with other dogs of all sizes at the neighbor's yard where he shows off his fast and agile side. He is an amazingly athletic dog that loves to play fetch.He is curious but polite toward the two resident cats and will follow them around if given the chance. There are no children in his foster home, but he should be fine as long as he has ample time to get used kids. Sudden movements and loud noises still startle him but with time he is learning to trust.Banshee is fully kennel trained, sleeps through the night without making a peep and has never attempted to break out of his kennel even when his foster parents are at work.He awaiting his forever home that will have the patience to take it slow with him so he can adjust to his new family and a new environment and forget about the negative experiences from his past.
