My story
Meet Scout — a playful, goofy, and endlessly lovable pup who’s just under a year old. Since being rescued as a scared stray, she’s blossomed into a joyful, curious, and wildly entertaining companion. She’s the kind of dog who will keep you laughing, keep you moving, and most of all, keep you loved. Scout is a social butterfly at doggy daycare and thrives when she has a buddy to play with. She’s bursting with energy and will do best in a home that can match her enthusiasm for life. If you’re the kind of person who loves walks, playtime, and a little bit of chaos in the best way—Scout is your girl. She’s crate and potty trained, and she loves her routine of meals, play, and naps. Her favorite thing? Toys. Any toy. All toys. If it fits in her mouth, it’s fair game. She’s smart, silly, and ready to learn whatever you’re willing to teach her. Scout would shine in a home that can give her plenty of attention, structure, and fun. She’s still working on building confidence, but she’s made so much progress and will absolutely thrive with someone who sees how special she is. She’s got all the makings of an incredible adventure buddy and a loyal best friend. If you’re looking for a dog who’s bursting with personality and has so much love to give, Scout is the one. All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise.
