She was very friendly, allowed me to touch her and pick her up. My daughter called her Claudia and I swapped out the 'u' for a 'w' to cat-ify it as a joke. She does not use her claws on us! The cardboard cat scratcher gets all her attention. We searched for an owner and were unable to find one. We were unable to bring her inside as we have a rehomed cat that will not share or get along with her. Even though she felt comfortable to just mosey on in when she saw an opening. Shortly thereafter, she showed signs of being pregnant. We continued to care for her on our patio and our back yard became her home. On the 4th of July she presented us with a litter of 6 kittens. Such a good mom! She moved them into the cube we provided next to them, to better defend them, while we quickly assembled an outdoor Catio. She frequently inspected our work and upon completion and stocking of necessities, she moved the family in during the night. Wow, talk about perfection! It has been our intent to find them all forever homes, including her. She has been fixed and received her shots. She is a Torti point Siamese mix, fantastic coloring, beautiful blue eyes, amazing whiskers, quiet, amazing rumbling purr, still very playful (vet said she is just over a year old), likes catnip, laser toy, string/stick toy and playing with her kids. She so deserves a home to call her own, people to love and cuddle with. Such a good girl. She even puts up with us cradling her, scratching her neck, as she rumbles her purr.
