My story
Meet 6 year old, 11 lb Miss Maggie. Maggie was rescued from a kill shelter in July 2024, with an estimated age being very young. Her initial medical exam indicated a heart issue, which was necessary to address for her long-term survival. Maggie had successful surgery using a balloon to blow up the size of a constricted valve. Her cardiologist released her with an excellent prognosis for a normal life. Maggie has a pleasant, sweet, playful disposition. She is such a happy girl, who never showed signs of being ill. Maggie loves the car, is crazy for squeaky toys, and can be energetic. She is a great companion dog, does well as an only dog, as well as being playful with other pups.
