My story

Meet Candy! Candy came to us in February 2025 and is ready to find her forever home! When she first came to our adoption floor, Candy was very shy, but that didn't last too long. Candy has really grown into her confidence and is quite the chatty little lady in the mornings when she knows it is time to eat. Food and butt pats are definitely the quickest way to Candy's heart! When she isn't looking for an extra treat or another meal, Candy can often be found just curled up and snoozing. She is a very curious kitty, but equally lazy, as well. She prefers to take the world at her own pace and will just patter around even when she is checking out something new. Candy does have a slightly sensitive stomach and tends to do best on just kibble food. Plump-Candy has been very unbothered by other kitties while in our care and tends to focus much of her energy on her human friends. We don't think she would have a problem with another cat in her forever home but will probably not be the type of kitty to play with a feline friend. Candy has done well with all of her human friends and thinks people of all ages are pretty great! Come by and visit with Candy if she sounds like the kitty for you! Candy is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
