My story

    Hey there. My name is Cashew Jack, but my Fommy (foster mommy) calls me Cashew. I'm a 6-month-old Hound/Labrador mix, and because of my brindle coloring, my Mommy says I’m beautiful. What do you think? I’m really shy at first meetings, but once I get to know you, I have a heart full of love and a playful spirit! I have two foster siblings, and I really want to play with them, but my shyness holds me back. But I know I will get there!  Fommy is working with me on my potty training. I already know how to use the pee pads, and my aim is excellent, but I don’t have much experience going outside - everything is so new and kinda scary. Maybe it's because I was in the shelter, but I'm smart, and you can help keep me on track.   My Fommy thinks I will be a big boy when I'm grown because I have huge paws - maybe around 60-pounds? I think being big someday is kinda cool - more of me to love! We can meet up in Dahlonega, GA, and have lunch and dog snacks, a beer (for you), water on the rocks (for me) - you can ask for me at 52 West Brewing in Dahlonega, GA, and my Fommy can make an introduction!
