Xochi

My story

Meet Xochi! Xochi (pronounced So-chee) entered Chula Vista Animal Care Facility as a severely matted stray in early February. For his comfort and to prevent skin infections, they groomed Xochi under sedation. He also had a dental during his time at the shelter, and several teeth removed. When we scooped him up on February 24th to become a Frosted Face, Xochi was feeling like a new man! He is estimated to be 9 years old, weighs 14 lbs., and is very sweet. Xochi lives with a wonderful foster family who has given us insight into his personality in a home setting. "Xochi is a true love bug. He is always more than ready to cuddle and snuggle. He loves food of any kind and enjoys a sprint around the block. Xochi immediately found his spot on my bed that first night and has claimed it every night since. Xochi is house-trained, doesn't bark, and is very self-assured. He's a gem!" Xochi's foster family is also fostering Frosted Face Quidditch (also available for adoption.) These sweet pups didn't know each other previously, but they get along great. As you can see in the video, they are perfect walking buddies!
