My story

Mercedes is smaller than she looks, she weighs just under 30 lbs. with "shorter" legs. Mercedes is around a year old, she is a very sweet girl with a lot of love to give! She is friendly, outgoing, affectionate, and a curious girl. She's loyal to her people and enjoys the company of other dogs. She is an active girl that loves to run and play with toys. She was recently integrated into a large group of 5-6 month old puppies for playtime and she did well after a 2 day introduction period. She is now one of the group and they do great together! Mercedes is an all-around great dog and should fit in with most any family. Mercedes is a smart girl; she does well walking on the leash, Mercedes is a smart girl; she has learned to sit for treats, which she is gentle taking from you, and sits when it is time to eat. She is treat motivated and eager to please! Mercedes should fit nicely with most any family. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application. Please note that our animals are rescued and transported from South Mississippi where major animal overpopulation means less homes. We only transport them if adopted, in most instances, we can be available for a video call once an application has been approved. We are USDA certified, and WE PERSONALLY TRANSPORT OUR OWN adopted animals to meet their new families. We transport every 2-3 weeks. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, Microchip, heartworm tested, Mississippi Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you ***Breed input is required for each platform but is not guaranteed to be accurate. We do not DNA test. We rescue animals from different situations. We discuss breed assignments with our vets to label them as accurately as possible.*** We are currently unable to adopt pets to ME and RI residents.
