My story

Happily floating about! Hi guys! My name is Bubbles and I am a 2 years old, female spayed Shepherd mix. I am about 48 lbs. I was rescued from ESLR, that deplorable 'shelter' and I am thankfully in a warm and loving foster home now. I am not used to being in a warm and safe home, but I am catching up on how good it is! My bathroom manners are almost all good and I have learnt to go outside. I am crate trained, but I'd rather be snugglin'. I am working on my leash manners and positive reinforcement will help me get over my habit of pulling. I need to be inside and watched when the door opens as I can be flighty.  I am a total sweetie pie and cant get over showing my gratitude with affection. I adore being around people! I am easy going with a calm demeanor and playful with dogs around me. I have a bit more energy in a new environment with more stimulation. I am more of a chew bones girl than play fetch athlete. But I can be possessive of my things and crates. I am a huge snugglebug and being next to you, giving company while you binge Netflix, is my favorite thing to do! I am selective with other dogs. I prefer slow intros when I meet dogs at home. But outside, I have been very playful. I got extra excited when I saw a guinea pig, so cats and small critters may not be a good idea around me. I met kids once and I felt overwhelmed by them. but overall, I have alreday brought so much love and joy to my foster family, and I am ready to share that! I cant wait to be your best friend and a wonderful companion! For someone who is looking for a dog who will give them unconditional love, I'd be perfect. a mellow home with a backyard would be ideal. I will need some training to not bolt outside and for general leash walking. If you think we can be a sweet lil family, we have to meet!
